The design of MB-300 series HF vehicular half-loop antenna is based on resonance principle. The HF High-Q value resonant antenna makes use of the inductive antenna and the vacuum capacitance to form resonance radiation with the high-Q value. The extremely low loss resistance and high-Q value is attributed to the special structural design. From the known of resonance principle, when resonance, the power of the antenna is Q times of radio driving power, and the Q is greater than 10. In other words, when using a radio of 125W, the resonant antenna could enhance the communication effect, which equals to the regular antenna works with a radio of over 500W.
The common HF tuning antenna is the radio load combination of tuner and antenna. Therefore, the power that the radio gained is definitely lower than the radio power output, as the tuner would make the power consumption. However, the resonant antenna designs on the resonance principle, the radio power only consume a little on the loss resistance on the process of resonance. The radiant power of the high-Q value antenna largely outweighs the actual driving power.
The antenna could coordinate with any type of military and civil radio, and could be applicable on the vehicle, the aircraft and the vessel or other carrier with the restriction of space.
